Alcohol compliance checks were performed in West Fargo on Tuesday, August 11. In total, 16 businesses were checked and 12 passed, resulting in a 75% compliance rate.
Fargo Cass Public Health (FCPH) conducts alcohol compliance checks in partnership with law enforcement agencies in Fargo, West Fargo and Cass County several times each year. The purpose of the checks is to ensure alcohol is not being sold to individuals under the age of 21. FCPH appreciates the cooperation of retailers across the community who are committed to following the law and preventing youth from purchasing alcohol.
