UPDATE:
Due to the repair of a water main gate on 9th Avenue South, the Public Works Department will need to perform asphalt surface repairs starting Thursday morning, Aug. 13. The road is now expected to fully reopen by the end of the day Friday, August 14.
ORIGINAL RELEASE:
Beginning the morning of Wednesday, August 12, 9th Avenue South will be closed to traffic between 38th Street South and 40th Street South.
Westbound traffic will be detoured to 13th Avenue South via 38th Street South. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to 2nd Avenue South via 40th Street South.
The road closure will allow for water infrastructure repairs to be completed. The road is expected to fully reopen by end of the day Wednesday, August 12.
