On Saturday, January 31, at approximately 12:13 p.m., Fargo Police officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 500 block of Broadway N. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who alleged another adult male, who was known to him, had stabbed him. Officers were able to quickly locate the person of interest in this incident in a nearby business and detain him without incident.
As the investigation progressed, officers learned the two individuals got into a physical altercation, which led to the stabbing. Additionally, the male who had been stabbed was transported to a local medical facility with serious injuries. There are no parties outstanding and there is no risk to the public related to this incident.
At this time, no arrests have been made. This remains an ongoing investigation, and no additional information is available.
