The City of Fargo offices, Municipal Court, all Fargo Public Library locations and Fargo Cass Public Health, including WIC and the clinic, will be closed in observance of Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11, and will re-open to the public on Wednesday, November 12.
All garbage and recycling collections will run on schedule. Residents are reminded to always place garbage carts and recycling bins out for collection by 8 a.m. on their normal garbage day. The Fargo Sanitary Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be open during normal hours Tuesday, November 11.
City MATBUS routes and MAT Paratransit service will be unaffected by the holiday, and the Ground Transportation Center will remain open. NDSU routes will not operate on Tuesday, November 11, and MATBUS administrative offices will be closed for the holiday.
The public lobbies of Fargo Police Department Headquarters (105 25th St. N.) and Fargo Fire Department Station 1 (637 NP Ave.) will be closed on Tuesday, November 11. However, full police and fire protection will continue during the holiday.
The regular City Commission meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. on Monday, November 10, in Commission Chambers at Fargo City Hall, 225 4th St. N., will not be affected by the holiday.
