Police Records and Data
The Records Bureau of the Fargo Police Department is comprised of civilian employees who act as the custodians of record for the department. The Records Bureau is responsible for processing public records requests for police reports.
Police Records' services are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (except legal holidays) at the Fargo Police Department Headquarters, located at 222 4 St. N.; or Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (except legal holidays) at the Fargo Police Department Substation, located at 1230 25 St. S.
Open Records Requests
North Dakota's laws state that all government records and meetings must be open to the public unless otherwise authorized by a specific law.
