You’re invited to learn about the reconstruction scheduled for Main Avenue in Fargo between the Red River and South University Drive over the next two years. Plans for the first year of improvements will be shared as well as how you and your customers can stay updated on access changes.
Road work is slated to begin Wednesday, April 17, after 9 a.m. Main Avenue will close to through traffic between 2nd Street South and 4th Street South. Local access through this stretch will be maintained and 4th Street South intersection will remain open.
An informational meeting is scheduled for today, April 15, 4 - 6 p.m. at the Depot (701 Main Avenue).
Formal presentations will be held at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Project staff will be available for questions before and after each presentation.
Parking is available in the Depot parking lot, Main Avenue and Broadway.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the City of Fargo will be reconstructing Main Avenue from the Red River to University Drive over the next two years.
