The library will host “America Recycles!” Thursday, Nov. 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the Dr. James Carlson Library.
City of Fargo Recycling Coordinator Jennifer Pickett will share a brief talk on what the city is doing about recycling and how the community can take part in the “Day Without a Bag” activity, which aims to cut down on the use of plastic bags by helping people change their habits, instead of banning plastic bags. Participants who bring in plastic bags to be recycled as part of the event will receive a reusable shopping bag while supplies last. Children will also make a small craft.
