Fargo Firefighters Respond to House Fire

Fargo firefighters responded to a report of a house fire located at 702 2nd St N. Upon arrival firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions involving the back side of the home. Three individuals were home at the time of the fire and all were able to exit the home safely prior to the fire departments arrival.

Fargo firefighters responded to a report of a house fire located at 702 2nd St N. Upon arrival firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions involving the back side of the home. Three individuals were home at the time of the fire and all were able to exit the home safely prior to the fire departments arrival. Firefighters were able to control the fire within 15 minutes of arriving on scene. One of the residents who was home at the time of the fire attempted to use a fire extinguisher but the effort was not successful.

There were no injuries however the home sustained heavy damage and all three occupants have been displaced. The cause of the fire is considered to be accidental and is still under investigation.
