Beginning Monday, June 4, crews will close 33rd Street North, north of the intersection of 40th Avenue North, to continue underground utility improvements associated with the 33rd Street North road construction projects. By 7 a.m., 33rd Street North between 40th and 46th Avenue North will be closed to traffic.
Local traffic affected by the temporary closure north of 40th Avenue North at 33rd Street North can access local businesses by the map shown below. Business access signs are installed to help direct local traffic along the 33rd Street North corridor. Crews anticipate this work to be complete by end of July, weather permitting.
Speeds are reduced in the work zone on 40th Avenue North. Drivers are reminded to slow down, eliminate distractions and pay attention to signage as crews may be working near traffic.
