The Spirit Room’s invitational exhibition, Wonderful Works of Whimsy Celebrating Local and Regional Artists will be on display at the downtown Main Library through the month of June.
The Wonderful Works of Whimsy is a festive exhibit rejoicing in the quirky nature of whimsy. Filled with bright colors, silly characters, and expert techniques, it offers something for all ages. Many local artists have contributed to the exhibit including Mark Elton, Cameron Peterson, Emily Williams Wheeler, and Sarah Nour. Wonderful Works of Whimsy is made possible through funding in part by North Dakota Council on the Arts and the Arts Partnership. A gallery talk is set for Tuesday, June 18, at 6:30 p.m. at the Main Library. All ages are welcome at this free event.
