The City of Fargo has one opening on its Liquor Control Board. Residents are encouraged to apply for appointment by visiting FargoND.gov/GettingInvolved. The appointee will fill a term expiring June 30, 2025; the position will then be eligible for reappointment.
Applications will begin to be reviewed on Monday, December 16, and applying before that date is encouraged and appreciated.

Opening: One board member
Meeting Logistics: Third Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in City Commission Chambers, Fargo City Hall
Average Time Commitment: Four to eight (4-8) hours per month
Responsibilities:
- Reviews new liquor licenses and makes recommendations for approval/denial to Fargo City Commission.
- Reviews or recommends changes to liquor ordinances.
- Discusses or recommends changes to guidelines for liquor establishments.
