The Fargo Police Department will celebrate the graduation of 22 recruits from the Fargo Police Academy Class III on Monday, August 8, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Commission Chambers located within Fargo City Hall, 225 4th Street North.
The Fargo Police Academy is a 12-week training program conducted in-house and fully certified by the North Dakota Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (ND POST). The next Fargo Police Academy will begin in January 2023. To learn more visit FargoND.gov/FPDAcademy.
Following the graduation ceremony, a swearing in ceremony will be held at 11:30 a.m. for 15 of the graduates who will join the Fargo Police Department. The new officers will begin their patrol training immediately following the swearing in ceremony.
