Do you or someone you know have difficulty reading standard printed materials and are unable to leave home because of a temporary or permanent disability? The Fargo Public Library has added a Books by Mail service to its Outreach Services offerings to assist community members who are homebound and unable to visit the library due to illness, disability, or visual impairment. Library patrons that qualify for the library’s new Books by Mail program may order materials which will be delivered in a reusable pre-paid mail pouch; items can be returned in the same pre-paid mail pouch. There is no charge for Books by Mail. City of Fargo residents can qualify to borrow large print books, audiobooks, and CDs through the mail. To find out if you qualify or for more information about the Books by Mail service, call the Outreach Dept. at 701.298.6954.
