Area children and families are encouraged to get outside and take a stroll through the plaza between the downtown Main Library and the Fargo Civic Center to enjoy a temporary StoryWalk® featuring Doreen Cronin’s picturebook Stretch. The StoryWalk® signs will be in place March 1 through April 30 (weather permitting). This temporary StoryWalk® features a series of signs using the art and words from the book in a family-friendly activity that is spread out to encourage youngsters to read, move and enjoy the outdoors.

The original StoryWalk® project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vt. and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library to promote literacy. For more information about this activity or other events for children and families, contact the Children’s Services Dept. at 701.241.1495.

Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public.
