Residents Encouraged to Apply to Serve on Fargo Sustainability and Resiliency Committee

The City of Fargo has three openings on its newly-formed Sustainability and Resiliency Committee. Residents are encouraged to apply for appointment by visiting FargoND.gov/GettingInvolved. Applications will begin to be reviewed on Friday, January 29 and applying before that date is encouraged and appreciated.

Name of Board: Sustainability and Resiliency Committee
Opening(s): Three (3) Committee Members
Meeting Logistics: Second Tuesday of each month at 3 p.m.
Average Time Commitment: Three to six (3-6) hours per month
Responsibilities:

  • Develops recommendations for City sustainability and resiliency action.
  • Promotes environmental stewardship efforts in The City of Fargo.
  • Evaluates existing City sustainability efforts and potentials for improvement.

In addition to this opening, residents are encouraged to research and apply for appointment to any of the boards, commissions and committees for consideration in the event of future vacancies.
