By early morning Monday, October 5, contractors for the City of Fargo’s Roberts Street reconstruction project will be onsite to finalize repairs to damaged street panels near the Salvation Army building. During this project work, Roberts Street will be temporarily closed to through traffic between 2nd Avenue and 4th Avenue North. Local access will remain open to business and residential areas. The roadway is expected to reopen to through traffic within a week.
Once traffic control is in place, motorist can expect the following access:
- Roberts Street will be closed to through traffic between 2nd Avenue to 4th Avenue North
- Local residential and business access will be maintained via 2nd Avenue or from 4th Avenue North
- Access to the Roberts Commons parking ramp entrance will be maintained from the south via 2nd Avenue
- Pedestrian access and on-street parking will be maintained on both sides of the roadway
