FARGO, N.D. (Dec. 8, 2019) – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect from 9:00 PM this evening until 9:00 AM tomorrow morning for Fargo. Based on the forecast, Fargo Public Works is expecting the heaviest snow accumulations will occur during the overnight. Due to the timing of this event, staff will be focusing on snow emergency route plowing throughout the night and residential street plowing may not begin until mid-morning Monday. It is anticipated that the Monday morning commute could be impacted by this event depending on snow accumulation and wind impacts.
For safety reasons, please give snow removal equipment as much room as possible and practice patience.
