Fargo Cass Public Health has started its annual garden boxes, which recently produced lettuce, parsley, kale and basil. Each week, the garden committee harvests the produce, which clients, patients and visitors are encouraged to take home. The community is invited to stop by and see what is available during the rest of the growing season.
The 25th annual Fargo Police Department Community Picnic held recently was a success. Chief Todd reports that the weather was perfect and there was a large turnout from the community who had very positive comments about their interactions with members of the Police Department.
The Inspections Department would like to showcase some projects done in the past year. The projects included dilapidated building cases that ended in ready-for-future-development lots and substandard building and housing rehabilitation cases that ended in an updated property that beautified a neighborhood.
