Area residents are encouraged to take part in the annual Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, May 4, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the Solid Waste Facility located at 2301 8th Avenue North. Residents may recycle televisions, computers and other electronics free of charge.
Each resident may recycle a total of two items at this event. A computer set counts as one item and includes a monitor, tower, keyboard and printer. This event is available to residents of Fargo, West Fargo and rural Cass County. Proof of residency will be requested.
If residents are unable to attend the recycling event, the Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 606 43 1⁄2 Street North accepts one computer set (as well as one television) per resident each month. Visit www.FargoRecycles.com for more information on recycling in Fargo.
