January is Cervical Health Awareness Month. Each year in the US alone, nearly 13,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer, and more than 4,000 women die of the disease. The good news is that cervical cancer can be prevented with regular screening and early detection. Regular screening with Pap and HPV testing—in addition to vaccination—can help prevent cervical cancer and save lives.

Call the Fargo Cass Public Health clinic at 701.241.1383 to ask about cervical cancer screening.
