Hector International Airport is reminding air travelers with TSA Pre✓® program or U.S. Customs and Border Protection Global Entry memberships to check the expiration date of their memberships before their next trip.
The Transportation Security Administration began offering its popular TSA Pre✓® program in December 2013. The program provides members with expedited screening and access to dedicated PreCheck lanes at more than 200 airports across the country, including Hector International Airport. Memberships are valid for five years and may be renewed up to six months in advance of the expiration date.
TSA Pre✓® members can check their membership status and renew online at https://universalenroll.dhs.gov/. They may also contact TSA customer service at 855.347.8371 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. ET.
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Global Entry program has been offered since 2008. The program allows international air travelers expedited clearance when arriving in the United States in addition to expedited screening for domestic travel. Global Entry memberships are also valid for five years but may be renewed up to a year in advance of their expiration.
Global Entry members can visit https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/ to check their membership status and begin the renewal process.
Both TSA and CBP issue notifications via email or phone to members ahead of their expiration dates, so program members are also reminded to check their spam boxes for missed notifications.
