The City of Fargo’s Department of Planning and Development will hold an open house in the City Commission Room in Fargo City Hall, on Monday, August 20 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., to allow residents and property owners an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed St. Paul Newman Center project and meet with the developer.

This project proposes to redevelop the 1100 block of University Drive North to include a new and enlarged St. Paul Newman Center facility and multi-family housing. This project is being developed by the Diocese of Fargo and Roers Development.
The developers are requesting a replat of the existing lots, a zone change to bring the entire block under MR-3, Multi-Dwelling Residential zoning, and Planned Unit Development (PUD) master land use plan to modify certain development standards of the MR-3 zone.

Additional information on the application is available online at http://download.fargond.gov/x/online_packet.pdf, which includes a copy of the subdivision plat, traffic study, planned unit development and graphics.

Any comments on the proposed development can be sent to the Fargo Planning Department at 200 3rd Street North or via email).
