Downtown on Ice, presented by Bank of the West, is officially open and ready to welcome all ages to enjoy the rink, warming house and fire pit amenities.
“The skating rink is the perfect addition to Downtown Fargo’s winter season,” said Melissa Rademacher, CEO and President of the Downtown Community Partnership. “It has been a huge success and it is truly one of the best ways to spend the afternoon or evening Downtown. Bring your family and friends and then head on over to a coffee shop or a restaurant to warm up after! There’s something for everyone.”
Downtown on Ice is presented by Bank of the West and located in the surface parking lot at the northeast intersection of Main Avenue and Broadway. The rink will be open now through February 28th, weather permitting. Hours of operation are weekdays from 4 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 12 to 8 p.m.
Hours are subject to change according to weather conditions. Warming houses will be closed earlier than scheduled in the evenings if the temperatures reach -10 degrees or colder or wind chills are -30 or greater.
