The Fargo Public Library will celebrate National Model Railroad Month by hosting “Train Day at the Library” at the downtown Main Library (101 4th St. N.) on Saturday, Nov. 22.
Red River Modules Model Railroad Club members will display and demonstrate model trains, including a unique LEGO train set, in the Community Room from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Club members will be available to answer questions about the trains, the display and the hobby of modular railroading, which combines modular trains and miniature scenery to make unique track configurations. Kids are invited to create a train-themed craft throughout the day. All ages are welcome to participate. No pre-registration is required, and all materials will be provided.
