Mark Peihl , archivist and researcher with the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County, will present two historical topics on Wednesday March 27, at 7 p.m. in the community room of the downtown Main Library. Mark will discuss the history of the Mid-America Steel company site in downtown Fargo, an area that was significant in Fargo’s early history. Mid-America will be vacating the site by the end of 2019 and future development has yet to be determined. Mark will also discuss the days of electric trolleys in Fargo-Moorhead. The trolley system served the FM area for several decades before automobiles ruled the day.
