About the event: Join us for a hands-on workshop with author Marcie R. Rendon. Participants will be asked to think and write from their own experiences, following the adage of ‘write what you know’. Ms. Rendon will also discuss the process of writing within the context of your own culture and life experience with the goal of being published. This event is recommended for _Northern Narratives_ participants. Participants should bring a laptop or notebook to write in. Refreshments will be  provided. __Space is limited; pre-registration is required__.
