Planning & Development Hero

CDBG/HOME Funds

Local community development efforts are led by the City's Planning and Development Department, in association with a host of committed local non-profit, state and federal partners. Much of the community development work is accomplished with the help of CDBG and HOME funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The City's Community Development Committee makes budget recommendations to the City Commission and oversees activities in this area.

In accordance with Federal regulations and City of Fargo policies, services are provided without regard to race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, public assistance, domestic violence, lawful activity, or condition protected by applicable federal and state laws. The City is an equal employment/equal housing opportunity agency. Contact the Section 504 Coordinator, Bekki Majerus, at 298.6966.
