Friends of the Fargo Public Library
The Friends of the Fargo Public Library is an advocacy group that promotes the library through fundraising, sponsoring events, and organizing used book sales.
More than 250 individuals and families were charter members of the Friends organization. The group officially formed in March 1995.

Request for Donations
The Friends of the Fargo Public Library accept donations of used books and other media such as DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks. The items can be brought to the Main Library at 102 3rd Street North in downtown Fargo during regular library hours. Most any type of children's or adult books and media are welcome.
HUGE Fall Book Sale Nov. 1, 2 and 3
The Friends of the Fargo Public Library are hosting a HUGE Fall Book Sale at all three library locations in early November.
Main Library: Nov. 1, 2, and 3, in the main floor concourse and in the Friends book store during regular library hours.
Dr. James Carlson Library: Nov. 1, 2, and 3, during regular library hours.
Northport Library: Nov. 1, 2, and 3, during regular library hours.
Please consider donating your used books and other media such as DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks to the Friends of the FPL. All proceeds for the book sale benefit the Fargo Public Library.
