Rapid test results will be available within approximately 2 hours from test collection.
Notification preference is selected during pre-registration. If you do not receive an e-notification or require a PDF copy of your results, there are three options to receive your results:
• Online Survey: Submit an online survey to receive a PDF of your test results via email.
• Citizen Portal: Log in to the portal for 24/7 access to your test results. Not sure if you have an account? Check here.
• Result Notification Line: 701.204.6664 (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm)

*Walk-ins are welcome, but scheduling an appointment is strongly encouraged.

Hours of Operation:
• Sundays: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
• Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
• Thursday: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
PCR (saliva), rapid antigen
PCR (saliva) test results will be provided via email after approximately 48 – 72 hours.
Rapid test results will be available approximately 1-3 hours after processing.
*Other public testing events can be located using the North Dakota Department of Health’s Free Testing Sites Table or the Minnesota Department of Health’s Community Testing Map.

At-Home Test Kits
For statewide locations of available home test kits, please check the North Dakota Department of Health's Test Locations table.
Fargo Cass Public Health (FCPH) will distribute at-home test kits from the following locations:
1230 25th St S, Fargo (farthest Southwest portion of the main FCPH building)
Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Kits are distributed from the area of the building labeled 'Fargo Police Substation'. Please enter through the sliding door and staff will provide assistance.

** The Food and Drug Administration recently extended the shelf life for COVID-19 tests. The FDA evaluated the shelf life of currently approved tests and concluded that the tests viability is longer than manufacturers originally thought. Please click here for a list of the tests that have been distributed by Fargo Cass Public Health. You can also check the FDA site for more information.
Become a distribution location:
Businesses and organizations interested in becoming a distribution location for at-home test kits are invited to complete the online contact form or call 701.241.1360 for assistance. Participating locations can choose to distribute kits either internally, for employees and staff, or externally, for the general public.
Testing for Travel
Travelers need to identify what type of test, source of test and result documentation information is required by their destination. Contact your airline or travel agent for questions about these requirements.
Travelers should inform testing site personnel they are testing for travel upon arrival at the testing site.
