Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney presented the 2020 Preliminary Fargo Budget to the #Fargo City Commissioners on July 23 at noon.
The Commissioners will spend the next several days reviewing the budget and potentially offer suggestions prior to the August 12 public meeting scheduled to next discuss the plan.
The Mayor identified five overarching goals for the City during this presentation:
• Creating an Engaged Community
• Promoting Smart Growth
• Continuing to Operate as the Regional Leader
• Ensuring a Safe City for Everyone
• Maintaining Nationally Recognized Service Excellence.
