MATBUS to Co-Host Mobility Matters Forum on May 22 at Fargo’s Main Library

MATBUS and Great Rides Bikeshare will be hosting a Mobility Matters Forum from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 in the Community Room within Fargo’s Main Library in Downtown Fargo. Exhibits and interactive displays will be offered through 2 p.m., in addition to on-site food trucks. Registration is free and available via MATBUS.com. The Mobility Matters Forum will also be broadcast live via the City of Fargo’s Facebook page.

The event will focus on transportation’s role in the community and preview advancements in technology and planning. The Mobility Matters Forum will specifically address opportunities to save money, decrease congestion and reduce emissions through shared transportation options.
Highlights of the Mobility Matters Forum will be as follows:
• MATBUS vehicles on display to showcase state-of-the-art safety features and route-finding tools
• The debut of the MATBUS smart kiosk
• Solar display for electric vehicles with induction chargers
• Cass County Electric Cooperative’s electric vehicle and off-peak charging program
• Lime e-Scooter test rides
• An E-bike from Great Rides
• The easy steps to utilize a bike repair station
• Using an a Charge Point EV charging system
