Try MATBUS Week takes place Oct. 15-20 and is an opportunity for people in the Fargo-Moorhead area to experience all the benefits of public transit. There are several special offers and incentives during the week to encourage residents to try MATBUS services and join passengers who take nearly 2 million rides per year in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

Bus fare will be half price (75 cents for adults, 40 cents for youth, elderly and disabled) Monday through Friday and free on Saturday. These promotional fares will apply to fixed route buses only and do not include MAT Paratransit.
During Try MATBUS Week, Customer Appreciation Day will be Thursday, Oct. 18 at the Ground Transportation Center, 502 NP Ave. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., MATBUS staff will be giving out free popcorn and bottled water and giving away knit stocking hats (while supplies last).

Dispatch team members can help explain the transit system and answer questions for those unfamiliar with MATBUS. The dispatch team can be reached at 701.232.7500 for any assistance needed regarding public transit. There is also a “How to Ride” video posted on YouTube and www.matbus.com that provides comprehensive information about the MATBUS system. Riders can plan trips on Google Maps and the MATBUS app, which is available on Google Play and the App Store. For additional information on bus routes, detours and live bus tracking updates, visit www.matbus.com or use the MATBUS app.
