"Pop-Rocks" is the Weekly Theme for Kids' Summer Reading Program for July 9 Through July 14!

The week of July 9 features events and programs for kids all focused on the theme of "Pop-Rocks."

Pop-Rocks themed activities for the kids of all ages at your Fargo Public Library happening July 9 through 14.

Stop, Drop and K-Pop Dance Class
You can't have K-Pop without a little dance! Dance the day away with instructors from Gasper's School of Dance who will be teaching an introductory Hip Hop dance class. This event is open to children ages 6 to 12. No dance experience is necessary. Please wear comfy clothing you can move in! No registration is required.
Monday, July 9 – Main Library at 11 a.m.

Bib-ing im Bap-ing Korean Story & Craft
How do you say "Hello" in Korean? Annyeonghaseyo! Learn about Korea, the country where K-Pop music comes from, at a unique story and craft event. No registration is required. Two sessions are planned:
Tuesday, July 10 – Northport Library at 10 a.m. (for kids ages 1 to 3 years old)
Thursday, July 12 – Carlson Library at 6:30 p.m. (for kids ages 3 to 5 years old)

Movie Matinee: Kubo and the Two Strings (PG)
Be bold. Be brave. Be epic. Join us for a musical movie day and craft! We will show the adventure Kubo and the Two Strings at the Main Library on Friday, July 13 at 1 p.m. We'll also make a craft inspired by the movie - a shamisen! Beverages and popcorn will be served. Open to children ages 5-12. No registration is required.

Pokémon Party
We know you gotta catch 'em all, but while you're at it, catch the reading bug at the library! Pop in for themed activities, crafts and snacks. The party will definitely be Pokémon-unmental! This event is open to children of all ages and no registration is required.
Saturday, July 14 – Main Library at 11 a.m.

These events are part of the library's "Libraries Rock!" summer reading program for kids.

Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public. Adults must accompany children age 9 and younger. Check out the library's online calendar of events for a list of upcoming children's programs and activities.
