Fargo Police Arrest Two for Multiple Vehicle Burglaries

Fargo Police have arrested Shelby Rose Azure, 26 years old of Fargo, and Rigoberto Diaz, 34 years old of Fargo, for nine counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, one count of unauthorized use of personal identifying information, one count of attempted unauthorized use of personal identifying information, two counts of burglary, and two counts of possession of stolen property.

Fargo Police Arrest Two for Multiple Vehicle Burglaries

Fargo Police have arrested Shelby Rose Azure, 26 years old of Fargo, and Rigoberto Diaz, 34 years old of Fargo, for nine counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, one count of unauthorized use of personal identifying information, one count of attempted unauthorized use of personal identifying information, two counts of burglary, and two counts of possession of stolen property.

On May 13, 2018, Fargo officers responded to a report of a vehicle burglary. A witness stated they saw a male enter the victim’s vehicle and take the stolen item. The male then left the area in vehicle driven by a female which was later located by a Fargo Police Officer as the report was being taken. The officer detained the occupants of the vehicle and identified them as Azure and Diaz. A probable cause search of the motor vehicle and a search warrant of Azure and Diaz’s apartment not only yielded the stolen item reported, but other items tied to 10 additional cases that occurred from May 7, 2018 to May 13, 2018. The case detective has linked additional cases to Azure and Diaz which will be sent over to the State’s Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
