Fargo Cass Public Health to Offer Free Classes for Moms Balancing Career & Breastfeeding

Fargo Cass Public Health is offering free classes to working mothers and pregnant women who plan to breastfeed.

Fargo Cass Public Health is offering free classes to working mothers and pregnant women who plan to breastfeed. The Back to Work Mom (#B2Wmom) classes focus on topics to help mothers return to work successfully and balance the needs of their family, career, and breastfeeding.

“Finding a balance between your career and a baby can be challenging,” said Michelle Draxten, breastfeeding coordinator with Fargo Cass Public Health. “We want moms to have as many tools as possible to help find that balance and feel confident returning to work while continuing to breastfeed.”

The following #B2Wmom classes are offered at Fargo Cass Public Health:

  • Getting to Know your Pump: 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14 and 6 p.m. Thursday, March 15
  • Preparing to Go Back to Work: 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11 and 6 p.m. Thursday, April 19
  • Breastfeeding + Working + Bonding + Parenting: 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, and 6 p.m. Thursday, May 17

All mothers or pregnant women are invited to attend one or all of the classes.
