The Fargo Landfill, located at 4501 7th Avenue North, will be closed today, Wednesday, December 13, due to the extreme wind. Debris from trucks cannot be properly maintained during times of high winds and often blows away from the landfill. The landfill is expected to reopen on Thursday. Residential garbage collection will continue as scheduled.
