Solar Eclipse Viewing Party Aug. 21 at the Dr. James Carlson Library

The library will join more than 2,000 libraries across the country to participate in the viewing of the solar eclipse.

A Solar Eclipse Viewing Party is planned Monday, Aug. 21, starting at 10 a.m. at the Dr. James Carlson Library. The library will join more than 2,000 libraries across the country to participate in the viewing of the solar eclipse. Kids of all ages are invited to attend and celebrate with snacks, crafts and other related activities while waiting for the moment of the eclipse. Our part of the country will experience a partial eclipse. Safe viewing glasses, provided by the STAR Library Education Network and its NASA @ My Library project, will be available while supplies last. No pre-registration is required to attend.
