Film historian/collector and former Concordia College Professor Tony McRae along with film critic Matt Olien will host a film series featuring four World War I movies. This film series is part of the 1 Book 1 Community program series.. Films and dates in the series include:
Sunday, Nov. 25 – All Quiet on the Western Front (1930)
Sunday, Dec. 2 – Paths of Glory (1954)
Sunday, Dec. 9 – Gallipoli (1981)
Sunday, Dec. 16 – Testament of Youth (2014)
Free popcorn will be served. A brief discussion of the films will follow each screening. All films are approximately 100minutes long.
