Project: Roberts Alley & Street Reconstruction Project
Contractors for the Roberts Alley project have reopened the north portion of the alley found between Broadway North and Roberts Street between 4th Avenue North to behind Atomic Coffee building. The alley is fully accessible to parking, deliveries and pedestrian thru traffic.
A new pedestrian lane has been added in the alley adjacent to the RoCo, Roberts Commons Apartments.
Property owners and renters are once again responsible for their garbage disposal. If dumpsters have not been brought back in the alley, please contact them immediately and have them brought back. With the project work complete, the contractors are no longer assisting with garbage removal.
With the full alley reopened, deliveries will no longer be allowed on the street. All deliveries must take place in the alley.
In adjacent project work, Roberts Street is currently closed to vehicle traffic between 2nd Avenue North intersection to the south entrances lanes of Roberts Common Parking Ramp. Weather permitting, crews will move to the north portion between 4th Avenue North intersection to north of the current work area to start the final phase of the reconstruction and infrastructure project later this month. Pedestrian traffic is maintained throughout the block and street parking is currently available in the north portion of Roberts Street.
