Starting Monday, August 13, the 12th Avenue/15 Avenue North Bridge will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrian traffic. Bridge rehabilitation work will take place over a duration of 50 days, weather permitting. Traffic will be detoured from 15th Avenue North, to 11th Street North, to 1st Avenue North, and 2nd Street North in Fargo. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes and to expect delays and congestion in the area. The bridge should be reopened to traffic on October 3rd.
There may be intermittent closures of the bike path that runs underneath the bridge on the Fargo side of the river throughout construction. During these short closures bikers and pedestrians will be rerouted around to west of the bridge and through the Jack Williams Stadium parking lot.
