Project: 33rd Street North Construction
Beginning Monday, June 4, crews will close 33rd Street N roadway north of the intersection of 40th Avenue North to continue underground utility improvements associated with the 33rd Street N road construction projects. By 7 a.m., 33rd Street N between 40th Avenue N and 46th Avenue N will be closed to traffic. Local traffic affected by the temporary closure north of 40th Avenue N at 33rd Street N can access local businesses by the map shown below. Business access signs are also installed to help direct local traffic along the 33rd Street N corridor. Crews anticipate this work to be complete by end of July, weather permitting.
Speeds are reduced in the work zone on 40th Avenue North so drivers are reminded to slow down, eliminate distractions and pay attention to signage, as crews may be working near traffic.
