457 Retirement Plans

The City of Fargo offers 457 deferred compensation plans as an additional option for retirement savings. A 457 deferred compensation plan is a pre-tax contribution which reduces taxable income and is specifically designed for those who work for the state or local governments.

Eligible employees can choose to participate in a 457 plan through one of five companies including; Mission Square, VOYA, Nationwide Retirement Services, Orion and Equitable.
