Pro Board Accredited Fire Service Certification

The Fargo Fire Department is a delegated certification agency through the North Dakota Firefighter's Association (NDFA). This certification opportunity is available to all North Dakota firefighters. Firefighters interested in testing should contact the department's Certification Coordinator at 701.241.1540. Testing dates are dependent on the number of people interested in receiving a certification. The NDFA, and the Fargo Fire Department as a delegated agency, are accredited by the Pro Board Fire Service Professional Qualifications System to test and certify firefighters to national standards (NFPA) for:

  • Hazardous Materials Awareness
