LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD
December 18, 2019 1:30 P.M.

Present: Commissioner Piepkorn, Police Chief Todd, City Auditor Sprague, Grant Larson, Environmental Health
Absent: Commission Gehrig, Police Chief Todd
Others Present: Rick Carik, Rick’s; Duane Litton, Duffy’s; and Anthony Bachman.

Meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M.

1. Commissioner Piepkorn called the meeting to order and asked if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes of November 20, 2019. There were no additions or corrections to the minutes of November 20, 2019. Moved by Larson, seconded by Todd to approve the minutes of the November 20, 2019 meeting of the Liquor Control Board all voted in favor, motion passed unanimously.

2. A. The first application to consider today is the issuance of a Class “F” alcoholic beverage license to Chipotle Mexican Grill of Colorado, LLC d/b/a Chipotle Mexican Grill located at 1204 19th Avenue North.

Moved by Todd, seconded by Larson to approve the issuance of a Class “F” alcoholic beverage license to Chipotle Mexican Grill of Colorado, LLC d/b/a Chipotle Mexican Grill located at 1204 19th Avenue North. Motion approved unanimously.

B. The second application to consider today is the issuance of a Class “F” alcoholic beverage license to TLK Holdings d/b/a Taco Shop located at 117 Broadway.

Moved by Todd, seconded by Larson to approve the issuance of a Class “F” alcoholic beverage license to TLK Holdings d/b/a Taco Shop located at 117 Broadway. Motion approved unanimously.

C. The Third application to consider today is the issuance of a Class “F” alcoholic beverage license to Bachman Catering LLC d/b/a VIP Room located at 624 Main Ave. #1. This is an upgrade from a class GH license.

Moved by Todd, seconded by Larson to approve the issuance of a Class “F” alcoholic beverage license to Bachman Catering LLC d/b/a VIP Room located at 624 Main Ave. #1. Motion approved unanimously.

3. Sprague reported that we are at 80% compliance on server training. This is an improvement from the less than 50% compliance a year ago. He commented that with better communication we should be able to increase compliance at license renewal time.

There being no further business to come before the Liquor Control Board, the meeting was adjourned at 1:39 p.m. The next regular meeting will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in the City Commission Room.
