MINUTES OF THE FARGO DOME AUTHORITY MEETING
A regular meeting of the Fargo Dome Authority was held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. in the FARGODOME Conference Room with President Troy Goergen presiding.
Members Present:
Troy Goergen, Blake Nelson, Michael Ellingson, David Suppes, and Nancy Jordheim.
Members Absent:
Dan Armbrust.
Others Present:
Ryan Green – City of Fargo; Sarah Dykema, Director of Marketing – FARGODOME; Bernie Larson, Assistant General Manager – FARGODOME; Susan Thompson, Director of Finance – FARGODOME and Rob Sobolik, General Manager – FARGODOME.

President Troy Goergen called the meeting to order at 3:36 p.m.
David Suppes made a motion, seconded by Blake Nelson, to approve the agenda of the October 29, 2019 Fargo Dome Authority meeting. Motion carried.
Blake Nelson made a motion, seconded by David Suppes, to approve the minutes from the September 24, 2019 Fargo Dome Authority meeting. Motion carried.
Michael Ellingson joined the meeting.
Rob Sobolik presented the General Manager’s report as follows:
Year-to-Date Net Income through September is stated at $200,276 which is a positive variance (to budget) of $96,196.
• Upon review, Blake Nelson made a motion, seconded by Michael Ellingson, to approve the September financial statements as presented.
On call of the roll, Ellingson, Goergen, Suppes, Jordheim and Nelson voted aye. Absent and not voting: Armbrust.
The motion was declared carried.
• Past Events: Lisbon Youth Football on September 29, 2019. Chris Tomlin on October 10, 2019. NDSU Football vs. Northern Iowa on October 12, 2019. FM Athletics Football on October 13 and 20, 2019. • Comments on Past Events: Nothing to report.
Blake Nelson presented the Fargo Dome Authority Building and Finance Committee report. The Fargo Dome Authority Building and Finance Committees met on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. Items discussed included:
• September 2019 Financial Statements: The September 2019 Financial Statements were approved by the Finance Committee at the meeting on October 23, 2019.
• Project Updates:
• Family Restroom/Nursing Room Project: The project has been deemed as substantially complete.
• Rob is reviewing a proposed contract from AT&T for a distributed antennae system (DAS) at the FARGODOME. More information will be forthcoming.
• The committee approved a request to reallocate $12,432 from the 2019 budgeted not allocated line item of $35,000 to a new project FD1917 to allow ICS to replace the drive chains of the turf mechanical system, along with inspecting the mechanical system.
Blake Nelson made a motion to approve the Building and Finance Committee report as presented.
On call of the roll, Ellingson, Goergen, Suppes, Jordheim, and Nelson voted aye. Absent and not voting: Armbrust.
